- 1 block = 4 weeks; 13 blocks = 1 year
- KCH = Kings County Hospital
- UHB = University Hospital Building (SUNY Downstate)
- LUTH = Lutheran Hospital
- AED = Adult ED
- PED = Pediatric ED
- FT = Fast track
- US = Ultrasound
- OBS = Observation Unit at KCH AED
- Electives/Selectives = 0.5 of 2.5 blocks of electives must be chosen from one of selectives:
- Ophthalmology
- Sports Medicine
- Orthopedics
- Dental
- Airway
- Peds EM
- Vacations = Broken up into two 2-week vacations
